Biodiesel pump inaugurated on Mumbai-Pune Expressway
MUMBAI: The first GST-compliant biodiesel fuel pump with digital wallet payment facility for cashless transactions has become operational for motorists along the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Khalapur.
Niti Ayog principal advisor Ratan Watal, who is also member secretary on the economic advisory council to the PM, inaugurated the pump on Tuesday. K Rajeswara Rao, another EAC advisor, was present.
Pump bills may be used to take benefit of input tax credit – deduction in quarterly GST against GST paid on diesel bills.
